Suhoor - Almonds, dates, half keema samosa, toast with cheese and peanut butter (me) and fruit jam (jaanu), grapes and half a banana, water, horlicks (me), chai (jaanu).
Iftaar - Dates, water, samosas, dahi bada, grapes, cucumber and carrot sticks and water melon.
Dinner - Mushroom and brocolli fried rice with egg curry, began ka burta (it never finishes!!).
From the 19th of Ramadan onwards we decided to do the Tahajud Sunnah prayers - also called the night prayers which was much practiced by our beloved Prophet (saw). MashaAllah we managed to continue this till today and InshaAllah we hope to continue it till Ramadan ends. InshaAllah. There is much blessings in the night prayers as narrated in the hadiths.
Also, today, wishes were seen on facebook about the coming of Shawal, the month after Ramadan, the 1st and 2nd of Shawal is Eid ul Fitr, a day fasting Muslims have great reason to celebrate and rejoice. Also wishes of Maaf, zahir & batin is also seen. A tradition among muslims to ask for forgiveness before the end of the Holy Ramadan and before they celebrate Eid.
There is no goodness to hold on to pass trespasses and prejudices, there will be no meaning in fasting in Ramadan if we are not forgiven by anyone we had hurt or unintentionally offended.
Allahuallam.
Maaf Zahir and Batin
