Misunderstandings and the wrong practices in wearing the hijab

Question 1 - Does a woman need to wear the headscarf?

Learning Outcomes:

O Prophet! Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

An-Nur 24:30

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments except what normally appears. Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their hidden adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those bondwomen in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.

An-Nur 24:31

Add discussions on the word:

  1. Khimar: (kho, ma, ro) as a verb that is to seal, then as a noun which is a drink in singular and plural.
  2. Press: (dho, ro, ba) with reference to an action to press and seal the container which is used for fermentation of intoxicants.
  3. Both the above combined entails the action of covering her head with a scarf which also falls over her chest and covers her other naturally occuring ornaments.

Rebuttal:
If the Quran is sent down for all and is supposed to be easy follow for everyone, why then is it so difficult for the current people to understand and enterpret it?

If it is direct and easy then why is it meant for those who have thought?
