A sign of hope
As the last day of 1442 ends
And 1443 unfolds
A constant reminder of hijrah
From good to better
From just right to the best
A migration of the mind, body and soul
The rainbow 🌈 reminds
of better days to come
Faith even as large as a mustard seed
Saves the nation, the people
A divine promise from days of old
Salvation is nigh
For those who believe
For those who strive
The rainbow 🌈 from my window
Paints a picture of possibilities
In memorial of a forced migration
From prosecution to a safe haven
With the promise of success
May this Muharram bring us hope
Our deeds, thoughts and words
A reflection of the real hijrah
