Welcoming Ramadan has always been a celebration year after year. This year being particularly unique because Covid is finally declared an endemic on the 01 April, borders are open and life supposedly back to the new normal since early 2020. Alhamdulillah.
Sehri was traditional of parathas 🫓 and milk 🥛
This time Maisha at age 10 managed to do the sehri with us at 5.30am and managed to complete her fast on the 1st day of Ramadan. Emir may take a couple of years yet to comply!
1st Ramadan starts on a Sunday. The day was fulfilled with house chores and reciting the Quran up to surah al Baqarah Ayat 57. Alhamdulillah
Really alhamdulillah I can read the Arabic text mostly thanks to my teacher PS Junainah for her motivation and effort starting it off since 2020.
Iftaari was done at Mazeen’s place indeed a traditional iftaar with friends and family.
Alhamdulillah
