Ramadan 13 - Moderation

Illnesses come and go when you’re young and among them that is part of growing up. Today we were planning to break fast at the masjid but had to detour because the boy came down with a fever. So husband continued his work there and we were at home breaking fast with dates, cashews, fruit custard and warm rose tea followed by dinner of rice and some chicken. Alhamdulillah 

Then I happened to have a chat with cousin and he started his argument with staunch interest regarding the Prophet being a pedophile yet again. I’m really tired with that point of view which he relentlessly takes an interest in and I really think he should get married to really understand the differences and strengths and responsibilities of the husband and wife. So I gave him the above verse just to identify with him the differences between the people of the book and submission to God. He asked then if Allah is almighty… I did not respond to his rhetorical question then he smugly added a joke on God the Prophet and conjugal acts. 

See, we are just messengers, opening minds and hearts belong to God. Allahualam
