10th Ramadan - PGG lesson

This morning was good as EJ and MJ got up on time for suhor. Training the younger ones takes so much patience which leads us to this surah on the characteristics of man and how we can overcome this through living in the present and living life intentionally. Surah al isra 100 tells about the irritability and impatience of man followed by the tafsir which says man who is obedient keeps his solat and practices patience, generosity and gratefulness- hence the acronym PGG.
After imsak EJ sat down with me for storytelling time and PGG became the lesson of the day. He was smiling and that was enough for me.

Today was hectic. I got my IC updated and retrieved my name change document from Putrajaya then back for work until 4.30pm. Reached home by 6pm and brought back nasi lemak cinta sayang today with the intention to finish up leftovers from yesterday. MashaAllah still leftovers were left.

After maghrib was carried away with the visa application paperwork for a trip to celebrate Eid with the children’s dad. This year 2 international trips so far, 1 in quarter 1 and the next in quarter 2… perhaps the other half of the year shall bring even bigger surprises! How thrilling!
