I thought to give attention to the above. One of the projects I’m working on along with a couple sub projects all of which is in dire need of sponsorship.
Have I yet to learn how to apply for international private grants even at this age of 41… Why do I feel so dumb.
We move again into the new hijiri year. I ask myself on this day what have I done in 1445 h, what am I doing today and what I think I am going to plan to do this year. Taking stride in the motto and meaning of awal Muharram which is the commemoration of the migration of the Prophet from Mecca to Madinah due to unfriendly activities in the former forcing them out of the holy land to another which is better.
What I did today?
I moved to my brother’s house away from Shah Alam into unfamiliar territory for me.
Why?
Money savings and writing. I couldn’t continue to afford the rent at Acappella without a permanent job, that is if I don’t consider self employment as a permanent job. I have to start taking initiatives today to apply in order to get a stable income.
What next?
Since I have this project still active, I will have to complete it before tentatively joining MSU again however I am torn between continuing this very flexible job to the detriment of my career in academia. May it be easy to discern.
Oh by the way firdausbooks.com is a joint project between FP & EI. Began since November 2023.
