- no one knows you are fasting because it is between you and God

1. Ikhlas
2. Amanah
3. Taqwa - jujur pada diri sendiri and dengan orang lain
4. Sabar

Fasting:

1. teaches us to be sincere in our actions
2. teaches us to be responsible of the work entrusted
3. teaches us to be truthful in our work
4. teaches us to be patient
