Career Break

I was thinking of taking a break
For how long I know not
Why so was crystal clear
It comes as second nature

A mother, a wife, a daughter and friend
Time and tide waits for no man
Grateful am I a woman sincere
A career break is allowable here

A pillar of strength
A path less trodden

A mighty decision
A responsibility taken

A day, a week, a month
Who knows
The nine years training 
is all but menial

Once passion reignites 
Wings spread for flight
A dove once caged
No more shall hide
