12th Ramadan - Sisterhood

Friends are a blessing. Especially of the same gender. In this case among girls and we call ourselves sisters (from different parents that is on a micro level but on the soul level aren’t we all related, from Adam and Eve/Hawa).

Iftaar today was at one of the sister’s house. Yes yes there are men too but we do not associate as much as possible, better that way. We can be ladies.
Little Ghazi (Warrior)

I arrived early and helped with preparations and we all sat on the floor to the left and right of the iftaar spread to break fast together along with the children. Both MJ and EJ fasted. This is good. Then we paused for Maghrib prayers before having tea. The men departed for the masjid for Ishak and terawih while the ladies chatted for awhile before resuming solat at home. The children minded their business together and had to be reminded for solat.

Dinner was served at 10.30pm after the men returned and the master of the house prepared it. Alhamdulillah it was a good day spent with friends.

The part of the morning was spent at the PIBG AGM which dragged on and because of the heat and sun I left earlier. Went to get some clothes shopping done for the children in preparation for China and one for myself. In total it costed RM500 which is significant! Then returned home for solat and sieta before preparing some agar-agar santan gula Melaka for the week.

Alhamdulillah
