4th Ramadan - Storytelling

Iftaar platter

Friday is considered a holy day, as Sunday is considered a day of rest. Again it depends on the religion. Anyway today after suhoor was sharing with kids about some ayat 111 in surah An-Nahl (the bees). Regarding:

An-Nahl 16:111

On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.

Being good and doing good.

As a story teller would - begin with Adam and Hawa - the story of Satan who refused to follow Allah’s instructions to bow down to man who was made of clay while Satan was made of fire. The story of arrogance and disobedience which caused the fall of man and Iblis until the day of resurrection.

The children were hooked on the story and lessons thereof. So it was a good way to teach the essence of the Quran after suhoor to them.
