2nd Ramadan - Long day

 

Of fish, pie and rice

A Tuesday is good, every day is good when things are going good. Now this Tuesday I reached office a little later than yesterday due to traffic and came home also later than usual due to accidents on the road. So iftaar was something made yesterday with rice and leftovers. Anyhow the priority is wholesome homecooked food to break fast together. Alhamdulillah. 

Office work was filled doing workprocess things which I can say a bit boring but necessary, finalising posters for workshop seminars, and meeting with project leader for system development.

A friend mentioned to me why not write another book on research management? This is definitely enticing… will need to give it much thought and study. Somehow at this point I should submit a paper for publication also in research management of community based or community centred research - current standing, challenges and proposed way forward. There now, we even have a title! 

After iftaar we did maghrib prayers followed by quran reading with the kids and for their music class it is! Yes today is a replacement day for the lesson I purposely missed for them on Sunday due to their misbehaviour in keeping their room tidy. Strict yes, there is no other way with growing children and discipline when multiple reminders were given. 

It was a long day and the time I had to rest was to sleep. Alhamdulillah
