27th Ramadan - Blind, deaf or dumb

Well well, whenever there is a third person there will always be temptation in a union. This may be in the form of a human or Satan. Anyway what’s done is done. Feelings are sentiments which change with time and familiarity especially when the other party keeps wanting and have proposed 4 years ago to my husband. A shame he told me today in the park. Perhaps a blessing. 

I was blind, deaf and dumb for the past 14 years. When I get back to Malaysia I will rectify it. Better be single rather than bear his ego for the rest of my life. Let the other wanting woman do that for the rest of his life. 

A date to be remembered, 7th April 2024, 27th Ramadan 1445h

When one is fasting we are supposed to be patient and to remind ourselves that we are fasting so as not to get angry or say something we will regret. Fasting is good for character and will power. It is also good for health. Whichever and however we prefer to adopt, fasting in Islam is about our testimony of obedience towards our Creator who knows what’s best for the creation. Once a year for 29/30 days only.

Today was spent at the palaeontology museum on campus after that we went to Beiling Park. Beiling Park houses a mausoleum of a Chinese king and is one of the world heritage sites. 

Just found out that the district Liaoning, China is one of the world’s most renown palaeontology sites. There were many fossils from the post Cambrian era found here and kept on display at the museum. 

Temperature today was 23 deg Celsius with bright sun and strong winds outside the museum entrance 

We arrived back on campus accommodation 10 min to 6pm. Did solat asar, quickly prepared iftaar and I cooked some spinach for dinner later, maghrib was at 6.18pm. After solat and having chai, I sat to read and write today’s reflections. May I train my emotions to serve me rather than be overpowered by it.
