Suhoor (2.50am)- Oats+raisins and dates with milk, almonds and bake beans. Husband had bread with fried beef keema and cucumber sticks and bake beans with milk tea.
Iftaar (9.01pm)- Fried beef keema samosas, dates, hard boiled eggs and milk (myself) tea (husband) with cucumber and carrot sticks with hummous.
Dinner (9.40pm)- Chicken korma with rice (myself) and naan (husband).
Today it rained in the night. Alhamdulillah. It has been a very warm and humid week ranging between 27-30C, then it rained :)!! It was easier to fast today. Alhamdulillah.
We also went to view cars today, in case we need to change one for this couple more months we are here in the UK. Instead we decided to give our car for MOT test today and it had to stay overnight at the garage. It meant that we had to walk 30 min to the masjid for Ishk and terawih prayers at 10.10 pm. By the time we reached home it was 12.15am and headed straight to bed.
Jaanu made chicken korma for dinner today, it was really good. He walked a lot and may Allah bless him for his efforts. I made kheer for iftaar tomorrow. It came out alright, should have cooked it longer and made the milk thicken more, anyway, all is good. We ended the 4th day of Ramadan fulfilled and inshaAllah we can do better spiritual wise in the days to come.
