29th Ramadan - Preps & Joy

It’s the last day of Ramadan 1445h. Another one passed alhamdulillah. This time in China. Different but familiar.

People like us don’t have a kampung to go back to. The world is our home. Wherever there is family, there is home. This we are grateful for. Family - in this lone journey on Earth.

Chinese corn army biscuits for supper with the kids

Hand peeled almonds ๐Ÿ˜… - the usual prep for sweets on Eid

It is cold outside. About 3 deg Celsius. So kept the milk outside the window since the fridge is full.

Managed to prep chickpeas both types for Eid day. We got the confirmation of Eid just after Maghrib for both Malaysia and China. We had yummy nihari with rumali roti for iftaar dinner. I managed to prep kofta too. So we have our Eid meal ready for the morning.

The last day of fast did not feel like the normal days of fasting because there was no terawih! Instead lots of prep for Eid. We went grocery shopping after asar then back in time to prep for iftaar. Slept last and last today wishing others on WhatsApp happy eid๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒ™.
